Descrizione: XIL is a turn-based strategy game for at least 2 players that brings the dynamic nature and tactical depth of classic RTS games to the home gaming table. The heart of the game is the 15x15 game mat, where your battlefield unfolds. Here you lead your forces into battle, capture strategically important positions, establish outposts and secure valuable resources. Your units can engage in close and ranged combat and use their type-specific abilities to achieve dominance. Titans—powerful command units, further shape the battlefield with their unique abilities.
In addition to the events on the playing field, each player manages their own resource board. Here you keep track of the accumulated XIL—the most important resource in the game and in the world of Uhltra itself. With XIL, you recruit units, purchase upgrades, place outposts, and use abilities—without XIL, your war machine comes to a standstill. In addition, each faction collects its own special resource through certain game actions. In three stages, you unlock powerful faction-specific abilities that can dramatically change the battlefield through one-time use or permanent improvements.
The base game offers high modularity in setting up its playfield and game goals. Besides classical modes for destroying your enemies capital, hunting titans, or controlling all resources, the rulebook also includes special scenarios for sieges, pre-defined standoff battles, 'tower-defense' and more. The battlefield can also be extended to increase size and/or player numbers by combining additional base game boxes.
