Descrizione: ‘Awaken, my creations!’ you hear, as you come into consciousness for the first time. You immediately realise you are a character from a song by pop princess Wendy Miasma, brought to life by some sick spell she has woven. She cackles for effect.
Wendy has created the world’s first necrocurrency, which she has dubbed ‘WENDYBUXXX’. She tasks you with becoming lifestyle influencers to shill her new brand. To help you spread the word, she has set up her own reality TV show, also named ‘WENDYBUXXX’, in which you will be the contestants.
In WENDYBUXXX, you'll manage a hand of cards, each of which has a value and a lifestyle. By drawing, playing and discarding cards, you'll be creating both positive and negative content about lifestyles, while also aiming to have the right amount of money left over to fit into the lifestyle that'll gain you the most followers at the end of each round. Discarded cards go into your offshore account, and the players with the highest and lowest total value in their offshore account at the end of each episode will gain/lose controversy. Having too much or too little controversy will lead to being unfollowed at the end of the game!
Your sole purpose for existing is to gain as many followers as you can before the show gets cancelled three episodes in and goes straight to VHS.
