TRIPLE English consists of the game instructions and 74 playing cards – 68 verb cards plus 6 jokers. The verb cards are divided into four categories and a total of 16 verb groups according to the TRIPLE principle.
Within each group, the verb forms are formed according to the same pattern, with the decisive factors being the changes in the stem vowel and the endings added (in the second and/or third form).
RULES OF THE GAME
The rules of the game are easy to understand, and the game includes common aspects of many card games: drawing cards from the deck, laying out certain card combinations, placing individual cards, and using jokers tactically.
It is particularly important to ask for verb cards. This is because, as with laying out cards, each player always names all three forms of the verb. They do not need to know these in advance, as they can read them. This gives everyone the same chance.
