Descrizione: The defender (Swiss soldiers) may place his 6 red pawns in the middle square (fortress) at his discretion on the black squares.
The 24 attackers position themselves at the bottom edge of the 4 outer squares, on the 6 lowest black squares.
The defender may move his pawns forward and backward on the black squares and must capture enemy pawns by jumping over them if possible. If he fails to capture, the offending piece may be taken prisoner by the attacker. The attackers may only move forward, but may never capture.
One of the attackers begins the game and moves, after which the defender makes his move. After each attacker's move, the defender moves to counter the attack. The red edges of the fortress are walls that can't be moved over.
The game ends:
When the attackers have occupied both spaces A and B, or when they have surrounded the defender so that he cannot move forward or backward. Pawns on A and B cannot be captured.
when the defender has defeated the attackers in such a way that only 2 pawns of the enemy remain.
