Descrizione: Spellebration has 45 letter cards, each with a vowel and its point value on one side and a consonant with its value on the other; and 6 colored sets of 6 markers. Each player takes one set of markers and is dealt 6 cards, consonant side down, and then N+1 cards (N = number of players) are dealt to the table in a column, consonant side up.
In their turn a player plays a card from their hand to either end of one of the N+1 rows, and places a marker of their color on it. Each letter placed must make a valid word or build toward a valid word. Instead of playing, a player may pass and then discard any number of cards and draw that same number from the deck. The hand continues until every player passes consecutively, and then each row of letters is scored.
In any row, if it is a complete word, the player who has the most markers on cards in that row gets points equal to the sum of all that word's letters' values. The other players get the sum of the values of the cards with their markers on them. If there is a tie for the most markers in a word, the total value of the word is split among the tied players. If a row does not make a complete word, then the player who last played a card to that row loses points equal to the total points in that row; a player's total for a hand may not be less than zero.
After an agreed-on number of hands (e.g. 3 or more), the player with the highest total points from all the hands wins the game.
