In Shelf Control, each player is given a set of empty shelves, some coins and meeples (bookworms) to fulfil their mission of reviving the dead town of Isidore.
This nail-biting game is played round by round until any player accumulates a total of 16 popularity and wins the game!
Each round has 2 phases; the turn-based phase and the purchasing phase.
On the turn based phase, each player takes a turn to collect government funding, purchase books, ask for a sponsorship, host a book drive, sort out their storage, use a bookworm and refresh their library.
On the purchasing phase, each player can choose to select a book from the marketplace to purchase.
