The locals are warm, welcoming, and relentlessly demanding.
As a mayoral candidate, you walk a razor’s edge. Every alleyway, every neighborhood, every handshake builds influence—but every promise, every maneuver, every scandal pushes your party closer to collapse. Spread your power too thin and you disappear. Push too hard and tension explodes.
Watch the city’s Thermometer carefully. When it rises, patience evaporates. At boiling point, the streets fill, tempers flare, and citizens don’t throw arguments—they throw tomatoes.
New Candidates emerge from the city’s factions. You recruit them carefully to your party—some bring influence, others bring trouble—and every choice reshapes your political future.
In Rovinia, control is subtle. Influence is fragile. And political glory is always one step away from public disgrace.
Are you ready to simmer in your own political pot?
In this game, you lead a political party in a small Mediterranean city where Influence is power and Tension is a trap.
Your goal is to accumulate the highest total Influence by the end of the game, carefully building your network through candidates, neighborhoods, and different social groups (factions). Every choice grants influence points, but it also increases your party’s tension.
As the city “heats up,” your options become limited. If you push too hard, you lose control. If you move too conservatively, you fall behind.
You win only if you manage to balance the expansion of influence, political diversity, and crisis control—while your opponents try to drive you to the boiling point.
