A fast, agnostic, minimalistic skirmish wargame where your squad's stats and equipment are generated directly from your personal data (name, birth date, and place). 1. What Makes It Unique?
Patria is a minimalistic, totally agnostic skirmish wargame covering eras from the Napoleonic Wars to the post-WWII period. Player-Driven Roster: Soldier stats (Aim, Vigor, Courage), weapons, and inventory are uniquely generated from your personal name, surname, and birth date/month. Core gameplay uses hidden, simultaneous order assignment, making every turn tense and unpredictable.
2. What to Expect on the Table
Personal Data Roster: Your stats and gear are uniquely tied to the player's identity.
Hidden Orders: Secretly assign orders (e.g., Shoot, Run, Hide) for simultaneous resolution.
Stat-Based Combat: Compare your soldier's Aim against the target's Vigor using a single, universal table.
Stress & Morale: Use your Courage stat to pass crucial Stress Tests and manage the cruelties of war.
Medals: Earn Medals by performing specific actions to spend on critical re-rolls.
Optional Campaign System: Booty of War and Map Campaign rules allow for tracking progression, losses, and recruitment between games.
3. What You Need to Know
Model count: 2 main soldiers + 1-3 Unknown Militants per player.
Miniature scale: Any! It is miniature agnostic.
Game length: Variable (scenario/player count dependent).
Players: Any (Solo, Coop, or Free-for-All).
Components required: D6 dice, measuring tool, character trackers, secret order tokens.
