“In the void between two worlds, a crack was born. From that crack came the Nexus – both gateway and wound. In the Nexus lies the Gate – a bridge between Noëmantis(the City of Thought) and Magnithar (the City of Time).
Nexus Omni is an indie semi-cooperative strategy game for 1 to 4 players, in a steampunk setting created from the world of Magnes and Atlantis Omni.
Set in the distant future, players take command of powerful Airships to confront Nexus Empire and control the crack-void passage by placing tiles between two worlds that fall apart.
The modular board of hexagonal tiles is the fragment of a Matrix reality passage, revealed as the game progresses, along with the random enemies from the Nexus Empire, with each exploration game creates an always different experience.
Each Airship has a different role, and as you play and evolve with the particularly diverse gravity of Nexus, you get to choose new tactics with each movement. Many of these synergize with each other and with the Nexus Empire as well, creating a vast number of possible tactic combinations and ways to approach each situation.
The game can be highly competitive and generates a lot of player interaction around the table when strategizing.
Finally, with immersive handmade art and design, each solo game tells the story between Noëmantis (the City of Thought) and Magnithar (the City of Time), the cities that created the world of Magnes and Atlantis Omni.
