Descrizione: Le MEGALO is a game created and self-published by entrepreneur Jacques Zwahlen, head of the Veillon mail-order company, and sold in the company's catalog, distributed to all Swiss households in the 90s and 2000s.

It's a mixture of Monopoly and a game of goose on the theme of human psychic development from birth to death.

To win, players must acquire a certain amount of Pep's (the game's money), notably by collecting a royalty when another player stops on a square they own, and four psychology “masteries” that can be acquired by stopping at least once on several consecutive squares. Diplomas already earned by other players can be stolen during the game in two different ways.

Players progress along the game track by rolling dice. At regular intervals, they must overcome psychological “resistances” which can, at the player's option, either be “mastered” (by means of a successful dice roll, to move on to the next square), or forced (by discarding a card in hand to jump 9 squares, if they are not countered). The player must also be in possession of certain cards in order to cross specific squares. Finally, instead of advancing along the game track with a roll of the dice, the player can freely choose to “step back” and strategically return to an earlier square.
