This game provides you with the finiest set of rules available for the period 1859-1871. Although primarily designed for 15mm
it can easily be adapted to other scales. The game ratio is 1:125 which will double or triple the size of your existing armies or allow you to build bigger armies quicker than before.
This is still a batallion level game, not some grand tactical game which only allow players to move entire brigades as maneuver elements. In the Age of Bismarck and Napoleon III uses revolutionary move sequences and brigade integrity to accurately portray battlefield control without destroying good playability.
These rules are fast-paced and action packed. No more sitting around checking through lists of modifiers. This game was developed from the already popular In the age of the Franco-Prussian War which was well received at conventions across the US.
This is a very player friendly game with lots of innovations:
1 All nationalities are rated for each war
2 Sample organisational charts are provided to help players build their armies
3 Over 100 commanders are individually rated
