Descrizione: Huizachtépetl y la modernidad ("Huizachtépetl and Modernity") tells the story of a hill in Mexico City that has been stalked by urban sprawl. In this cooperative game, the goal is for the inhabitants of Huizachtépetl—Huizache, Viento, Tlaloc, and Comunidad—to generate the Fuego Nuevo (New Fire) to halt the modernity that threatens the life of the hill.
To achieve this, players must explore the hill to find the pieces of the Fuego Nuevo, which are hidden in caves. But beware: modernity lurks as the city grows and continuously devours the hill. Players must succeed before the city completely consumes the hill.
Mexico City is eating away at the Cerro de la Estrella (Huizachtépetl). Declared a National Park in 1938 when it spanned 1,100 hectares, today it has been reduced to just 120. Its inhabitants struggle daily to protect it. Perhaps the Fuego Nuevo ceremony will bring a new era where humanity and nature can coexist in harmony once again. But its inhabitants are running out of time in the face of modernity's expansion
