Descrizione: Critter Crimes is a wild caper through the underbrush of crime and cunning, where furry felons scurry for infamy and reknown! In this dice-rolling, resource-snatching, hideout-building game, you’ll take on the role of a criminal critter—be it a Tommy Shellprano, or the feathered fraudster Owl Capone —vying to become the top boss of the woodland underworld. Players roll food dice to pull off daring crimes, stash loot in burrows, and play dirty for powerful bonuses. But don’t get too greedy—your rivals might plant dirt on you, steal your stash, or sic the Bark Ranger on your tail!
With variable abilities and delightfully devious mechanics like stealing art, planting evidence, and tossing dice in the trash, Critter Crimes is the perfect mix of cute and cunning. Grab your gang, sharpen your claws, and let the crime spree begin.
The core gameplay loop is a repetitive series of days and nights .During each day, players will explore Central Park and gather food dice to help them commit crimes, resources to help them build burrows, bottlecaps for help increase their ability scores, and dirt to help them gain leverage on their opponents.
Once each player has explored during the day, each player commits crimes at night. To commit a crime, they choose one from a displayed tableau and rolls any amount of their cached dice in hopes of rolling equal to or greater than the score on the crime card, then they add their correct modifier to their roll. Each crime has a minor immediate effect like dice manipulation and resource management. Later on once a player has built a burrow they may store their dice onto these cards (each crime card accepts a different colored food die), and this activates its major effect.
The game ends when a player has committed their 12th crime or when all of the dice are gone from the park. The player with the highest score wins.
