Descrizione: It’s some year in the near future, maybe... like... 2043 or something. There’s been an attack on the power grid of every major developed nation on the earth. An attack of this scale is simply unprecedented. As a result, a vast majority of nuclear power plants have malfunctioned, and of that group, many have experienced major explosions. Fortunately for you, you're alive, but you’re just outside the blast radius. It’s everyone for themselves. Friends and family are now your enemies. It’s you or them. Survive or die. Throw on your backpack, because you’re going scavenging.
Blast Radius is a strategy-focused card-matching party game in which players compete to find loot to complete objectives. Blast Radius is designed specifically to be easy to pick up and learn by gamers of all experience levels! There's no need to memorize pages and pages of rules, micro-mechanics and other mumbo jumbo. Blast Radius is a fantastic way to kill 25-45 minutes with friends and family! Blast Radius uses a system in which players are all working to complete their own objectives by collecting the necessary items that satisfy them.
A player's turn begins by drawing from the main item deck, which counts as their first of 2 moves. The first draw is a always a gamble. Will you draw a weapon so you can defend yourself, or will you draw a bear trap and become incapacitated? After your first move, which is always drawing from the main item deck, you have to choose what you will do as your second move. The options are: draw again from either the main item deck or the discard pile, playing an action card such as a machete to steal from your opponents, trading item cards with other players, or trading in/completing an objective!
As you learn the game, you'll find different strategies for keeping your opponents from completing their objectives. Plan to only win Blast Radius if you're determined and willing to always be thinking 1... 2... or even 3 steps ahead of everyone else at the table. Expect conflict. It's basically unavoidable.
