Descrizione: Allenby's and Lawrence's Desert Wars is a fast, playable, intense operational-strategic micro-wargame about the 2 wars against the Turks in Palestine and Western Syria waged by the British and by the Arabs. The British wanted the Turks out of Palestine and the Levant to replace them with British and French control, while the Arabs and TE Lawrence were fighting for Arab independence, and their nuanced victory conditions reflect that.
Games have 10 bimonthly turns. The British, Turkish, and German forces are confined to the grid. Lawrence and Arabs can sweep anywhere out of the open desert. Strategic and first priority Trans-Jordan Railway supply deliveries to off-map Medina can be protected by Turks only to a degree from Arab attacks.
- Division to corps to Hejaz (camel) and Howeitat army level.
- I-Go-You-Go wargame system using combat odds outcomes and different levels of resilience from combat disruptions, although outright eliminations possible.
- 2 British Re8 air units, 1 German Rumpler C1 air unit. German "Pasha" advisors to help Turk resilience and coordinate Turk defenses.
