Descrizione: In 1882, the CANADIAN PACIFIC RAILROAD pioneered railway construction in the territorial region of Assiniboia, an area now divided up across the provinces of Alberta and Saskatchewan. The area was a hotbed of prospector and investor speculation, as hundreds of square miles of fertile land were made available for colonizing. The Canadian Prairies railway boom had begun.
