Plan each piece carefully, block your rival, and find the best route to reach the other side first — or eliminate your opponent.
About the game
PUENTRIS is a competitive two-player strategy board game where players build and reshape the board while trying to cross it with their pawn. Each turn begins with drawing a card that shows a geometric shape. The player must recreate that shape on the board using tiles of their color, connected to the existing structure.
Placing tiles can complete rows or columns, which are immediately removed from the board. When this happens, tile structures collapse toward the players’ starting sides, potentially destroying paths or causing pawns to fall.
Players move their pawn along tiles of their own color, advancing up to two spaces per turn. The goal is to reach the opposite side of the board before your opponent. However, the constantly shifting board means every placement can either build a path to victory or create a fatal collapse.
How to play
Phase 1: Draw the top card from the draw pile; it will show a shape.
Phase 2: Place tokens of your color on the board to complete the shape. If you cannot do so, you lose.
Phase 3: Remove any completed rows and columns, then make the remaining tokens fall toward each side of the board. If your pawn is on a completed row or column, you lose.
Phase 4: Move your pawn up to 2 spaces orthogonally across tokens of your color; your opponent’s tokens block your path. If after moving your pawn reaches the opposite side, the active player wins.
Phase 5: Pass the turn to the other player.
