Descrizione: The year is 1930, an era of shadows and hidden secrets. The city, once vibrant and hopeful, now whispers with sinister rumors. In dark alleys, inhabitants murmur about ancestral entities, forbidden and unnameable. The economy, like an ancient ritual, twists and contorts, fueling something beyond human comprehension.
Forgotten places emerge from the mists — decrepit houses that shouldn't exist, winding streets leading to unfathomable abysses. Dreams are haunted by visions of cosmic creatures, slithering tentacles, and eyes that see everything. Insanity spreads like a malignant fungus, corroding minds and tearing veils between our world and the beyond.
Lone investigators rummage through forbidden manuscripts, seeking unnameable truths. Fear seeps into souls like a frigid mist, and the city becomes a cosmic chessboard where ancient forces plot their return.
Objective: Find and interrupt the Ritual before the Great Old Ones are summoned. The game is played in turns, alternating between investigators, monster turns, and news from the Arkham Gazette. Players can investigate, attack, walk, guide allies, and spend items to recover sanity and hit points. Players lose if they are devoured, killed, driven insane, or if the ritual is completed and the Great Old One awakens.
