Up to 6 contestants search their pantry's scattered supplies for the correct ingredients to make recipes that Marianne gathered through her tumultuous adventures!
Who will put the most ingredients in the central oven and manage to keep their calm during this Pantry Panic!?
Pantry Panic is a memory-driven ingredient game where players race to complete shared recipes by managing their own hidden pantry stacks. On your turn, you either draw two Ingredient Cards from your personal Unsorted Ingredient Stack and place them into any Pantry Nook on your mat (building your hidden layout), or you pick one Ingredient Card from a Pantry Nook. If the ingredient appears on the current Active Recipe Card(s), you add it to the recipe and may continue collecting from orthogonally adjacent nooks—so long as each ingredient remains valid and you don’t pick from the same nook twice in a row. If you draw an ingredient not listed, or run out of valid moves, your turn ends.
Play continues clockwise as players strategically remember ingredient locations and push their luck to complete recipes efficiently. Once five unique ingredients have been placed on an Active Recipe Card, the round ends and players score. Used Ingredient Cards are returned to their owners and reshuffled, the completed Recipe Card is removed, and a new Recipe Card becomes active. The game continues through the deck of Five Recipe Cards, and when none remain, the game ends.
