Players each have a role with a special power, and a hidden goal (to collect dinosaurs of a specific colour). Players move around a hex grid on a roll of two dice and pick up fossils from dig sites. They then return the fossils to base camp and roll to see which dinosaurs they have discovered. Decks of good and bad cards can affect gameplay. Meanwhile, an angry tyrannosaur is either hunting a particular player or controlled by the player in last place. If the dinosaur catches you you drop your fossils.
