Descrizione: Neutral is an easy-to-learn card game about climate with engaging gameplay. Mechanics work independently of the climate theme. It is enjoyable by players of all ages.
Players must gradually reduce their carbon footprint (sum of the cards in their play area). Values of the cards are their daily greenhouse gas emissions from food, transport, heating, shopping and travel. They range from 0 (Low) to 10. The emissions were calculated for France. Gameplay hinges on habit cards and temporary cards. Tentations cards let gamers sabotage other players.
At the beginning of the game, you are a major big emitter. Your emissions from food, transport and heating are 30 kg.CO2.eq per day (sum of the cards in front of you). Players start the game with three "10 cards" and four "Earth cards" in their play area. They have a hand of 7 cards.
One round of the game is one year. Adapt your lifestyle every year. Play 2 cards (one color on one color) in your play area or on the discard pile. If you go over the maximum limit of the round, you will lose an "Earth card". During the game, the objective of the round decreases (from 25 to 5). If you lose all your "Earth cards", you are eliminated. Manage to spend a carbon-neutral year to win the game. If no one reaches carbon neutrality, the last player is the winner.
