So far only one faction as been revealed, but it looked like they belong all to one of the 5 different Ideologies:
Faction Name: Trogs
Ideology: Industrial
Faction Bonus: 3 Credits
Abilities:
1. When you develop you may instead place a third disc on one of your already developed Planets. It now counts for 2 developed Planets.
2. Advanced Technology: Gain 2 Victory points and 2 Innovations.
Home planet: Desert
Discard Bonus: 1 Influence
