Descrizione: Buckanjär is a pirate-themed adventure game where players take on the role of daring captains navigating an ever-expanding map. At the start of the game, each player chooses a unique character and ship combination, with differences in speed, cargo capacity, and equipment — like fishing gear or cannons. The game combines exploration, strategy, and a hint of danger as players set sail from their chosen home ports.
As players move across the map by rolling dice (modified by character traits), they uncover new tiles — revealing islands, fishing spots, or open sea. Islands contain resources that can be collected, sold for coins and gems, or used to upgrade your character. Some islands even hide treasure maps, allowing for high-risk, high-reward expeditions. Coins and gems serve as currency and are key to winning the game.
The twist? All valuables remain aboard your ship until you return home — which means you're vulnerable to plundering by other players. Sea tiles also trigger unpredictable event cards, creating moments of opportunity or danger that can turn the tide of the game.
