Descrizione: All Players agree on the Difficulty level, and each Player decides the size of the Village they will rescue (20 to 50 Villagers). For every Villager below 50 the Player begins with, they start 1 Level higher. EG. If a Player has a Village size of 35, they start the game on Level 15.
The game is played in Rounds. Ascending Players take their Turn by selecting a die from the remaining Dice Pool, choosing how many Levels they wish to ascend, and rolling. If the roll is unfavourable, they might be able to reroll before recording any Villagers lost or found. Next, they add the Levels ascended to their current Level, and choose whether or not to Pray.
Safe Players do not Ascend, but roll to see if the Gods are kind to them, before they choose whether or not to Pray.
After all Players have had a Turn, the Round ends with an Act of Gods roll, the Water Level rising dependant on the Difficulty chosen, and new Prayer Tokens distributed to all non-Drowned Players.
As soon as all Players have either reached Safety or been drowned, Players scores are calculated and the winner declared.
