Descrizione: The Duit set has over 500 thick cardboard tiles, each being either a letter or a black square, and a booklet for 10 different games, most of which are actually puzzles:
- Crossword-O-Grams. 5 crossword puzzles, with clues to construct a the puzzles as well as solve it.
- Scrambled Letters. About 60 scrambled words in different categories, which players can unscramble using the tiles.
- Word Ladders. 10 different puzzles which transform one 3-letter word into another (e.g. ANY to WAS) by repeatedly removing the last letter and adding a letter in front to make a new word.
- Stepping Stones. 24 puzzles to change one word to another (e.g. BEAT to LOST) by changing one letter at a time, to make another word.
- Anagrams. 10 phrases which can be rearranged to make the names of presidents of the US.
- Game of Anagrams. The classic game where in your turn you reveal a letter, and if you can, make a word using it and either other unused letters, or all the letters of an already-formed word, stealing it from the word's owner. The first to have 10 words wins.
- Hidden Word. 10 puzzles where you find a word hidden across several words in a sentence,
- Ghost. The classic game where you add a letter to a growing word fragment without finishing an actual work.
- Scrambled Word Squares. 16 arrays of 3x3, 4x4, 5x5 letters, which are to be unscrambled to make word squares.
- Checkers. There is a checkerboard on the box bottom, and the tiles can be used to play checkers -- black squares vs. letter squares.
