The Game of Wits, Words, and Wild Creativity!
In WTF - Write Things Fast, players flex their creative muscles to craft hilarious, clever, or downright absurd phrases that match a theme—but there’s a twist! Each phrase must fit a random acronym, making every round a mix of quick thinking, word mastery, and unfiltered fun.
How It Works
Each turn, the player in charge flips over three cards, each with a letter and a variety of themes. Using those cards, the player chooses a theme for the round—anything from "Title of a Song" to "Movie Tagline" or "Worst Dating Advice." Once the theme is announced, the challenge begins:
Players must create a phrase where each word starts with the letters on the cards in the order they appear.
Need some flexibility? You’re in luck! Free Words like "and," "the," or short connectors (e.g., “in” or “on”) can be used anytime to help smooth out your masterpiece.
For example:
If the cards reveal R, D, and G and the theme is "Title of a Song," players might come up with:
"Rowdy and Drunk in Germany"
"Radio Destruction with Grenades"
"Rachel's Dances with Greg"
The possibilities are endless—and the fun only grows as the table erupts in laughter over the creative (or chaotic) submissions.
Storytelling for the Win
Once everyone has written their phrase, the spotlight shifts to storytelling! Each player takes a turn sharing their phrase and weaving a quick, creative, and (hopefully) convincing backstory. This is your chance to sell your idea: Why is “Rachel's Dances with Greg” the next viral hit? Why does “Rowdy and Drunk in Germany” belong on every karaoke playlist?
More creativity = more votes = more points!
Vote for the Best
When all the phrases and stories have been revealed, players vote on their favorite. Voting is fast and simple:
On the count of three, everyone points to the player whose phrase they think deserves the win.
The winner collects the theme card as a point.
If there’s a tie, the player who picked the theme gets the final say (and no, they can’t vote for themselves!).
Ramp Up the Chaos
Want an extra challenge? Add a timer! The ticking clock forces players to think on their feet, turning every round into a high-pressure sprint for the most creative (or hilariously bad) phrase.

First to collect 5 points wins.
