Descrizione: This is a cooperative paper-and-pencil game that appeared in Sackson’s book Beyond Competition.
The playing field shows grid of circular spaces connected by lines along with 6 triangular starting spaces numbered 1-6. 24 of the circular spaces are heavily outlined and represent rescue spaces. Players use a deck of standard cards (A-6 only) to determine what number (0-5) to enter in each rescue space. This represents the number of people to be rescued in that space. Players also use the cards to determine their movement speed (2-5) and starting triangle. Each player uses a different colored pencil. On your first turn, move from your starting a number of spaces equal to your movement speed then mark off 1 space on the shared time track. Then fill in one of the 4 quadrants of the circle you landed on. On subsequent turns, you may leave a circle from any direction that has a line leading out of it, provided you can move your full movement speed and land in an available space. For each quadrant that is marked off on a circle you leave, add 1 to your movement speed for that turn. If you land on a rescue circle, fill in the entire circle with your color and rescue the number of “people” in the space. Check off that # of boxes on the “rescues” track. Mark off 1 time each time you move. Each rescue circle may only be visited once. Each other circle may only be visited four times. If, on your turn, you have no legal move, you may move to any unused triangle and start from there. If all 6 triangles have been used, you are out of the game, but other players continue playing. If the players rescue all 60 people before 60 time has expired, they win the game. Otherwise, they lose.
