Hashtag Hustle is a strategic 91-card game featuring 19 different card types divided into three categories:
Passive cards: Provide continuous benefits.
Active cards: Trigger immediate effects.
Special cards: Grant permanent bonuses and unique protections.
Gameplay Overview:
The game is played turn by turn, with hidden cards in hand that players reveal on the table to build their strategy.
On their turn, a player can:
Play up to 2 cards (except when special effects apply).
Draw additional cards from the Player deck or the Improvement deck (if available).
Interact during other players' turns by playing instant cards (e.g., steal, counter, expel, hack), which do not cost an action.
At the end of their turn, they draw back up to 5 cards.
The goal is to build and optimize your channel by gaining Followers, improving channel quality and streaming time, which allow access to larger subscriber groups and strategic bonuses.
Players must make tactical choices between opportunism and strategy, including selecting special cards from six available options, such as Sponsor, Cybersecurity, moderator, secret donor, steel reputation.
Beware:
Larger Follower groups aren’t always the most beneficial!
End of the Game:
At the start of the game, the Player deck is divided into three equal piles. The End card is inserted into the left pile, which is shuffled and placed under the other two piles.
The game ends immediately when the End card is drawn.
This ensures that the game ends randomly once about 33% of the deck remains.
Winning the Game:
At the end of the game, each player calculates their score based on:
Cards played (value depends on type and number of Followers).
Bonus effects (e.g., +1 point per Follower, +1 point for every 2 hours of streaming time, etc.).
Special cards and their unique advantages.
The player with the most points wins and becomes the next social media star!
