Descrizione: Two players go head to head, one as a loyal agent, the other as a traitor, competing to save or sink their detective's agency.
In Mimic Mind we are transported to 1980, to a Chicago detective agency. Among us there is a loyal agent who seeks to save the agency, a traitor who seeks to undo the agency and a double agent who can help you or your adversary in their mission.
This game has 18 detective cards (6 blue, 6 red and 6 yellow).
Shuffle the deck of 18 cards and place it on one side of the table leaving a space in the center to build a grid of cards that can grow up to 3x3 during the game.
Each player chooses a color: Blue (loyal agent) or Red (traitor agent).
Yellow (double agent) will be a wild card color that both players can use to win.
The Blue player will always start and then their opponent. Each player in their turn will be able to perform one of the following four actions.
Place an Agent: Take a card from the deck and look at it in secret, then place it in the playing area, face down (if there are cards, you place it adjacent to a card in the center, within the 3x3 boundaries).
Replace an Agent: Take a card from the deck, look at it secretly and replace it with a card from the playing area, face down. The other card you removed is placed underneath the deck.
Swap Agents: Swap two agents in the playing area by keeping them face down.
Reveal Agents: You can reveal up to 3 agents as long as the one following the first one is of the same color.
A player wins immediately when they succeed in revealing a 3 in a row of their, or the wild card color.
In the case of revealing a 3 in a row of your opponent's color, your opponent wins.
A 3 in a row is a vertical, horizontal or diagonal row of cards of the same color. A combination of your color with a card of the wild card is not allowed.
